Inspired by Billy Joel's "Piano Man," a song about hopeless and unfulfilled people who congregate at a bar and request songs from the piano man to temporarily relieve them of their burdens. This animation features a character inspired by the song: a hopeless woman longing to escape her reality. Her desire to break free from her situation is represented in the smoke of the cigarette which transforms into symbols of freedom.
